Protect Sacred Land
A paradigm shift in how we perceive land, moving beyond conventional metrics to embrace a holistic approach that heals and strengthens our connection with the living world. Through regenerative conservation, we cultivate a symbiotic relationship that enriches both human wellbeing and the ecosystems that sustain us. This approach harmonizes the needs of people and place, safeguarding landscapes while inspiring a new generation of regenerative projects that honor life's delicate balance.
Phase 2
Cultivate Connections
Through immersive experiences, we invite individuals to reconnect with the natural world and restore their well-being. Emphasizing humanity's deep bond with nature, we create opportunities that nurture body, mind, and soul. By engaging with the Earth in meaningful ways, we foster a sense of belonging and illuminate the profound connection between personal wellness and the land's vitality. These experiences remind us that we are part of a vibrant, living ecosystem—where our own healing intertwines with the Earth's renewal.

The Next 100 Years
As the sanctuary evolves, reciprocity guides our way of life. We nourish people as we tend the land, flowing with the rhythms of the seasons in reverence and grace. Through sharing ecological and cultural wisdom, the sanctuary embodies a living model for a new way forward—one where human presence enriches rather than depletes the natural world. Looking back from the vantage point of a century’s progress, we will be able to tell our children’s children the story of humanity’s journey toward becoming humble, engaged participants in nature’s flourishing.
We are a non-profit raising $600,000 by May 1st, 2025 to establish a world-class sanctuary dedicated to the regeneration of both people and planet.

For the past seven years, Victoria and Eric Guarino have embarked on global journeys, immersing themselves in distant lands while embracing a rich tapestry of cultures, both familiar and foreign.
For Victoria, these journeys rekindled a connection to the rhythmic pulse that embodies Latin American cultures and the deep-rooted essence of her ancestral heritage — a profound reconnection to the wisdom of Mother Nature and herself.
For Eric, these explorations signified a departure from his decade-long career in corporate real estate, which left him in pursuit of deeper meaning. These travels left an indelible mark as he bore witness to the direct correlation between his profession and the undeniable impact on the world and climate.
It was amidst these transformative journeys that CASALMA took root within their hearts. This vision aims to reweave humanity & nature and stands as an offering to both; a space where food and fire act as unifying forces, fostering meaningful connections and invoking the reminder that nurturing the world around us inherently nurtures the world within us.

A partnership born out of a common mission: to create programs and projects that inspire new relationships with ourselves, each other and the earth. The Pseads (“seeds”) Institute is an educational nonprofit and design institute energized by a love of people and planet and the core belief and principle that how we learn becomes how we live. CASALMA began out of a partnership with Pseads to support their work in building community, empowering youth visions and voices, and supporting projects that honor the ‘seed’ of wisdom that exists within every human being.
Pseads is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, serving as our incubator, mentor, and foundational partner.
